Usually when you meet Bboys and Bgirls from other countries and you say that you`re from France, most of the time, they`ll ask you about AKTUEL FORCE!
I could go for hours talkin` about them, but actions speak louder than words.

Today, I decided to share with the community some of my french inspirations.
1st one: Supreme NTM. They started as a crew of writers ( Mode 2 was down with them).
Kool Shen ( the first MC in the following clip) was an original member of Aktuel Force and a writer. It is told by some that he was the 1st Bboy to do windmills in Paris.
Joey Starr( 2nd MC), who`s also a writer was down with Paris City Breakers in the 80`s.
This clip is for me the epitome of what Hip Hop is...It`s the clip that made we wanna break the very first time I saw it around 95. You can see in the clip Gabin, Xavier and Pascal ( Aktuel Force).
The instrumental fits perfectly with the lyrics ( we even studied them when I was teaching French at Clark University,MA!! haha), dope flow, dope clip! Mos def a 5 stars!

Today, I`m givin` a shout out to my man Rabbani from Holland. Dude not only inspires me as a Bboy (he just flows like water) , but as a person as well. Brother is a true underground soldier...

Sweden!!

Last weekend I had the chance to go to Sweden to hit Circle Prinz and to teach a workshop over there ( Thanks to my man Freeze).
It was a really dope event ( just like all the events I`ve been to in Scandinavia). It was really cool to chill and catch up with some friends. And as usual I got mad inspired by the dancers over there.
But a special mention goes to Calle from Above the Cloudz! Dude just flows like
water...
